This book is written primarily for use by students who wish to gain a better understanding of fractions and be able to work confidently and successfully with them. It is also for parents who wish to help their children understand the mathematics they are asked to do and for those elementary school teachers who are not mathematics specialists but who are required to teach mathematics, a subject with which they themselves may not be comfortable.
