During a hot, sun-drenched Sunday morning on the streets of Sarajevo, the world was about to be forever changed. 

When Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the throne of the Austrian-Hungarian empire, stepped off the train at the Bosnian capital that day for what was to be a brief state visit, little did he know that he and his entourage were walking into one of the greatest assassination plots ever conceived. 

Executed by nationalistic schoolboys recruited and equipped by the most feared terrorist organization of its time, the momentous act they perpetuated would simply be know as The Assassination. Yet, ironically, but for a simple twist of fate, it might never have happened at all.
