This book is not an autobiography. While all the stories are true accounts of happenings during my lifetime, as a veterinary surgeon, they are not in any sequential order. Sometimes one story results in another memory. I decided to recount the stories, as they occured to me over the period since I retired. The stories are, however, an accurate account of happenings in my life and perhaps of some other veterinarians' lives.
I hope these stories make the reader laugh. Even now, I read them and chuckle. You know, if I had the chance to do it over again, I would do so willingly.
