Dedicated into service at the end of September 1931, the Ontario C.P.R. Dental Car is shown here in January of 1932 sharing a siding in Northern Ontario with the smaller C.P.R. School Car #1. Dental services were provided to the many isolated communities in Northern Ontario, and in particular along the Canadian Pacific Railway from west of Sudbury to the Ontario/Manitoba border.
