A Book of Words

The poet Sharon Marcus looks at the book of her life through a mystical Sufi lens, using words she was given to work with, both sacred and profane.
The poet might lament the eclipse of words and their intrinsic value, while the Sufi aspirant finds the necessary letters and syllables to illuminate her path.
A Book of Words is for all those deliberately searching for answers to questions rising from the light of an inner heart, questions about our human connection to God, to the presence of the divine both within ourselves and the world in which we have to function.
