This book is both poem and prayer celebrating gardens and their bountiful harvest: gardeners I have shared my life with; cooks I have schnibbled and stirred beside; friends and family I have shared recipes with, and the people I love who gather round my table.
It honours my Pennsylvania Dutch heritage and then welcomes all of the other cultures that came to our banquets.
