"In the Shadows of Time” is an illustrated book of poetry that took over a period of nine years to put together and is the first in a series of three collections.
“In the Shadows of Time” is a book about struggles, emotions and love. It’s about letting go and moving on. About growth and survival and about hope. It is about faith and trust in God.
It’s about closing the door on the past while another door opens to a brighter future and new life. It’s a book from my heart and to anyone who reads it.
I was born on July 23, 1961 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In 1968 our family moved to Kingston, Ontario. That same year we moved to Cambridge then known as Galt, Preston and Hespler.
Our first stop was Hespler. That same year 1968, we moved to Galt. By the time I was 9 years old we had moved to Preston. A couple of years later we moved back to Galt, where we settled a bit more, but we constantly moved from one place to another. I currently live in Preston where I have been for the past 8 years.

I have two children, both girls. Nina who was born August 5, 1980 and who I wrote "Red and Yellow Roses" for is currently living in a group home for the mentally challenged.
Lisa was born January 7, 1985. "A Time of Innocence" was written for her and was about her. The years I watched her grow were a real privilege.
I now have a second collection of poetry in progress and look forward to its release within the next couple of years. I am also looking forward to branching out in other areas of writing as well.
