Jeff Culbert’s Theatre Boom Town sketches the flurry of theatre activity that occurred in and around London, Ontario as we were experiencing a new decade, a new century, and a new millennium. New companies, festivals, performance spaces, and theatre award ceremonies were created, the work of London playwrights was being produced at an unprecedented rate, and without anyone being in charge of what was happening, it seemed that everyone was trying to find a way to participate in the fun and excitement of this dynamic grassroots movement.
